Dangote Refinery Slashes Petrol Price to ₦828/Litre, Marketers React Positively

Dangote Refinery has reduced the ex-depot price of petrol from ₦877 to ₦828 per litre, representing a 5.6% drop. This decision comes as global oil prices, including Brent crude at $64.23 per barrel, have been increasing due to tensions and sanctions.

The Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC) will ensure steady crude supply to the refinery. The price cut is expected to ease fuel market pressures and lead to lower pump prices nationwide, impacting diesel prices and business operations.
