Catholic Priest Kidnapped in Kogi State: Security Forces on Search Mission

Gunmen have kidnapped Catholic Priest Rev Fr Wilfred Ezemba in Kogi State's Olamaboro Local Government Area. The incident occurred on Saturday in Imane, Olamaboro LGA, causing distress in the Catholic community.

This abduction comes just a week after another kidnapping in the same area. Security operatives, including the police and Kogi East Neighbourhood Watch, are conducting search operations in nearby forests.

The priest's fellow clergy, Rev Fr Michael, expressed confidence in God's deliverance and the power of prayer. The Kogi State Police Command is yet to receive formal briefing on the abduction.
