Bandits Kidnap Woman and Children Near Senator's Residence in Kogi State

In Kogi State, armed bandits kidnapped a woman and two children in an early morning attack near the residence of Senator Sunday Karimi in Bareke Egbe, Yagba West local government area. The incident, which occurred around 2 a.m. on Friday, left the woman's husband injured but he managed to escape.

This abduction followed a series of recent attacks in the region, including the ambush of a commercial bus in Ejiba where a passenger was abducted and a motorcyclist was killed. The wave of violence has forced residents of Okunran community in Yagba West to flee their homes.

The bandit activities have escalated, with multiple incidents of abductions and violence reported in the area.
