JUST IN: I’ll Restore Fuel Subsidy if Elected – ADC Presidential Hopeful Vows, Sends Message to Atiku

Presidential hopeful Dumebi Kachikwu of the African Democratic Congress (ADC) has vowed to restore fuel subsidy if elected in 2027. He criticized past administrations for mismanaging the subsidy regime, leading to ordinary Nigerians suffering.

Kachikwu called for the prosecution of those who diverted subsidy funds instead of punishing citizens. He dismissed claims that President Bola Tinubu removed the subsidy on his inauguration day, stating that it was actually ended by former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Kachikwu also sent a direct message to former Vice President Atiku Abubakar, warning him against using the ADC as a platform for his political ambitions. He emphasized the need for a leader who prioritizes national unity, fairness, and meritocracy to drive Nigeria towards progress.

Kachikwu urged for a clean subsidy process and accountability to benefit all citizens.
