Tinubu Did Not Remove Fuel Subsidy – ADC’s Kachikwu

In an interview with Vanguard, the African Democratic Congress (ADC) spokesperson, Kachikwu, clarified that Bola Tinubu did not remove fuel subsidy, contrary to claims. Kachikwu criticized the removal of subsidy as a bad policy that burdens poor Nigerians.

He emphasized the need to prosecute corrupt individuals involved in the subsidy scheme to bring accountability to the system. Kachikwu also pointed out that the previous administration, under late President Muhammad Buhari, removed fuel subsidy.

However, he noted that the current administration added to the subsidy, contradicting claims of its removal. Kachikwu called for a more transparent and accountable approach to managing fuel subsidies to benefit the Nigerian people.
