NAHCON Reduces 2026 Hajj Fare by N760,000, Sets Payment Deadline

The National Hajj Commission of Nigeria (NAHCON) has reduced the 2026 Hajj fare by N760,000 following President Bola Tinubu's directive. Pilgrims from Adamawa and Borno states will now pay N7.5 million instead of the previously announced N8.3 million.

Northern state pilgrims will pay N7,669,769, while southern state pilgrims will pay N7,991,141. NAHCON Chairman, Professor Abdullahi Saleh, disclosed this during an interview in Saudi Arabia, emphasizing the cost-saving benefits for pilgrims.

The payment deadline for intending pilgrims to complete their payments for the 2026 Hajj has been set for December 5.
