PDP Appoints Mao Ohuabunwa as BoT Chairman Amid Internal Crises

The People's Democratic Party (PDP) has appointed Senator Mao Ohuabunwa as the Chairman of its Board of Trustees (BoT), succeeding Adolphus Wabara. Isah Dansidi was appointed as the Secretary.

The new BoT, inaugurated in Abuja, aims to address internal party crises and maintain neutrality. The outgoing officials, Wabara and Ahmed Makarfi, publicly declared their positions on the party's internal issues, leading to their replacement.

The BoT reaffirms its commitment to promoting democracy, transparency, and inclusivity in line with Nigeria's constitution and INEC guidelines.
