PDP BoT Faction Chairman Blames Party Crisis on Disobedience and Ambition

Mao Ohuabunwa, the faction chairman of the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT), revealed that the party's current crisis is due to disobedience of its constitution and unchecked personal ambition. In an interview on Monday, Ohuabunwa emphasized that the internal wrangling and self-inflicted issues are the main reasons behind the turmoil within the PDP.

He criticized members for treating the party as a mere vehicle for their presidential aspirations, leading to a loss of moral compass. Ohuabunwa called for a return to obeying the party's rules and learning from past mistakes to reconcile and recover the party's integrity.
