PDP Leaders Meet with Governor Makinde Amid Tensions

On Monday, the People's Democratic Party (PDP) Board of Trustees (BoT) and National Working Committee (NWC) leaders convened a closed-door meeting with Oyo State Governor Seyi Makinde in Ibadan. This meeting occurred amid growing tensions within the party, particularly concerning Makinde's political future as the 2027 general elections approach.

Attendees included Adolphus Wabara, the BoT chairman, and Kabiru Tanimu Turaki, the head of the party's interim national working committee.
