JUST IN: Peter Obi visits late Peter Rufai’s family (PHOTOS)

Labour Party's 2023 presidential candidate, Peter Obi, visited the family of late Nigerian football hero, Peter Rufai, who was laid to rest in Lagos. Accompanied by former international Sylvanus Okpala, Obi expressed condolences and urged the family to remain strong.

He spent an hour with the family, signing the condolence register and offering words of comfort. Rufai's younger brother, Bruce, thanked Obi for his presence, stating that it lifted their spirits.

The family members expressed excitement and gratitude for Obi's visit, with one member saying they felt abandoned until his arrival.
