Police Arrest 12 Suspects Over Killing of ARISE TV Staff in Abuja Robbery

The Federal Capital Territory (FCT) Police Command has arrested 12 suspects in connection with the killing of ARISE TV staff member Somtochukwu Christella Maduagwu and her security guard in a robbery attack in Abuja. The arrests were made following a directive from President Bola Tinubu to ensure swift apprehension of those responsible.

The suspects were tracked using digital intelligence, with the operation led by ACP Victor Godfrey. The incident occurred on September 29, 2025, when armed robbers invaded an apartment, resulting in the deaths.

The arrested suspects are from various states, and the police are continuing their investigation into the case.
