Police Arrest 12 Suspects in Connection with Arise News Staff's Death

The Nigeria Police Force has arrested 12 suspects in connection with the armed robbery incident that led to the tragic death of Arise News staff member, Somtochukwu Christella Maduagwu, in Gishiri, Abuja. Among the arrested suspects are Shamsudeen Hassan, Abubakar Alkamu, Sani Sirajo, and others from various local government areas in Katsina, Kaduna, and other states.

Somtochukwu, also known as Sommie, was murdered during an armed robbery at her Katampe residence. The police are actively investigating the case and have made significant progress in apprehending the suspects involved in the robbery.
