JUST IN: Presidency releases full list of federal hospitals with reduced dialysis costs in Nigeria

The Presidency has released a list of federal hospitals in Nigeria where the cost of kidney dialysis has been significantly reduced, following approval by President Bola Tinubu. The announcement was made by the President's Special Adviser on Policy Information, Daniel Bwala, who confirmed that a subsidy has been implemented in major federal medical centers and teaching hospitals across the country's six geopolitical zones.

The list includes hospitals such as the Federal Medical Centre in Lagos, University College Hospital in Ibadan, and Lagos University Teaching Hospital. Bwala stated that the program will be expanded by the end of the year to increase access to kidney dialysis services for patients nationwide.

This move highlights President Tinubu's commitment to prioritizing healthcare and easing the financial burden on citizens.
