President Tinubu Meets High-Level US Military Delegation for Security Talks in Abuja

President Bola Tinubu of Nigeria met with a high-level United States military delegation led by General Dagvin R. Anderson at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The meeting, attended by top Nigerian security leadership including National Security Adviser Nuhu Ribadu, focused on security cooperation, especially in the context of Nigeria's ongoing battle against terrorism and transnational threats. The delegation from the U.S.

Africa Command (USAFRICOM) also included senior members and the Chargé d'Affaires of the U.S. Embassy in Nigeria, Keith Heffern.

While specific details of the closed-door discussions were not disclosed, the meeting highlighted the heightened security collaboration between Abuja and Washington.
