Tinubu Seeks Senate Confirmation for FERMA Chairman Appointment

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has written to the Senate seeking confirmation for the appointment of Musa Babayo as the Chairman of FERMA. The request was presented during a plenary session where two new senators, Joseph Ikpea and Emmanuel Nwachukwu, were also sworn in.

Tinubu's letter urged the Senate to consider and approve Babayo's nomination in line with the agency's establishment law. The Senate's administration of oaths to the new lawmakers marked a formal induction into their legislative roles, enhancing the Senate's composition and functionality.
