Nigerian Retired Service Chiefs to Receive Bulletproof SUVs and Medical Allowance

The recent retirement of the Chief of Defence Staff, General Christopher Musa, and two other service chiefs will see them receive substantial post-service benefits, such as bulletproof vehicles and an annual medical allowance of $20,000. President Bola Tinubu approved the new regulations, which also outline extensive welfare packages for the retired service chiefs.

The changes in the military hierarchy include the appointment of General Olufemi Oluyede as the new Chief of Defence Staff, with other new appointments in key positions within the Nigerian Armed Forces.
