Tinubu Appoints Ibrahim Ida as CAC Chairman, Nominates NPC Members

President Bola Tinubu has appointed former Senator Ibrahim Ida as the Chairman of the Corporate Affairs Commission, as announced in a statement issued on Monday by his Special Adviser on Strategic Communications, Bayo Onanuga. The statement highlighted that Ida brings extensive experience in public administration and finance to his new role.

Additionally, President Tinubu nominated seven individuals to fill vacant positions in the National Population Commission, which are subject to confirmation by the National Assembly. The nominees include Kolawole Oladipupo Alabi from Ekiti, Nasiru Muazu from Zamfara, Usman Abubakar Tuggar from Bauchi, Dr. Isaka Alada from Kwara, Prof. Sadiq Isah Radda from Katsina, Suleiman Umar from Jigawa, and Hon. Chiso Abdullahi Dattijo from Sokoto.

This move is intended to complement the federal commission, which has already sworn in commissioners.
