Tinubu to Visit Kebbi for Argungu Festival Inauguration

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu is scheduled to embark on a one-day official visit to Kebbi State on Saturday. This visit aims to inaugurate a project executed by the state governor, as informed by Bayo Onanuga, the special adviser to the president.

During this visit, Tinubu will also headline the 61st edition of the Argungu International Fish Cultural Festival, which is recognized as an intangible cultural heritage by UNESCO. The festival is a significant cultural event in Africa, celebrated along the riverside of the historical Matan Fada.

It attracts visitors from across Nigeria and beyond, featuring traditional fish competitions, music, dance, and craft showcases that highlight the rich cultural heritage of the country. The president's visit is part of ongoing efforts to support state-led development projects and promote Nigeria's cultural tourism.
