Tinubu Commissions Projects at Argungu Festival in Kebbi

On Saturday, President Bola Tinubu commissioned various projects in Kebbi State during the 61st Argungu International Fishing Festival, which he described as a testament to the return of stability and normalcy in the state. The festival attracted around 50,000 fishermen from Nigeria and neighboring countries over four days, featuring cultural displays and traditional competitions.

Tinubu praised the security arrangements that allowed the event to be safely organized and highlighted the federal government's commitment to supporting tourism, agriculture, food security, and rural development. He commended Kebbi State Governor Nasir Idris for successfully organizing the festival and reaffirmed the federal government's support for farmers and fishermen.

Tinubu also commissioned infrastructure projects, including the Bola Ahmed Tinubu Secretariat Complex and a new modern motor park. Governor Idris outlined ongoing investments in infrastructure, health services, and agricultural support, including the distribution of fertilizers and improved seedlings to farmers.
