VP Shettima Returns to Nigeria After UNGA and Germany Meetings, Highlights $200 Billion Energy Opportunity

Vice President Kashim Shettima has returned to Nigeria after participating in the 80th Session of the United Nations General Assembly (UNGA) in New York and holding strategic meetings in Germany. Shettima, representing President Bola Tinubu, emphasized Nigeria's commitment to multilateralism and its bid for a permanent seat on the UN Security Council.

He highlighted Nigeria's $200 billion energy transition opportunity to attract global investors for sustainable energy solutions. Additionally, Shettima discussed strengthening cooperation with the United Kingdom on trade, defense, and migration.

His diplomatic engagements aimed to showcase Nigeria's readiness to take on a greater global role and drive economic growth and job creation.
