Justice must be gender impartial – AGF Fagbemi

Attorney General of the Federation (AGF) Justice Lateef Fagbemi stressed the importance of gender-neutral justice to maintain credibility. He highlighted the need for fair and impartial justice without bias in Nigeria.

Fagbemi spoke at the inauguration of the project "Strengthening Approach to Administration of Criminal Justice Act (ACJA) Framework Advancing Women Peace Security (WPS) Nigeria" in Abuja. The project aims to enhance justice delivery, accountability, and citizen rights protection.

AGF Fagbemi emphasized the transformative impact of the ACJA at the federal level and the need for its full implementation in all states. The project also focuses on promoting women's role in peace-building, conflict resolution, and inclusive governance.

The Federal Ministry of Justice is committed to supporting initiatives that uphold the rule of law and human dignity.
