K1 De Ultimate apologises over Abuja Airport altercation

Fuji music icon K1 De Ultimate has issued a public apology for his involvement in an altercation with ValueJet staff at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport in Abuja. In a video obtained by Channels Television, the artist described the incident as regrettable and took full responsibility, seeking forgiveness from the President of Nigeria and the Minister of Aviation.

K1 explained that the altercation was due to a container of water he needed for health reasons, recommended by his doctor. The incident led to a directive from the Minister of Aviation, Festus Keyamo, to place K1 De Ultimate on a list pending a full investigation by the Nigeria Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA).

Despite the controversy, K1 De Ultimate emphasized his commitment to representing Nigeria positively and hoped for public acceptance of his apology.
