Kachia Federal Varsity Starts Academic Session, Focuses on Innovation

The newly established Federal University of Applied Sciences Kachia (FUASK) has commenced its inaugural academic session in line with the directive from the federal government. Vice Chancellor Barnabas Quirix highlighted the university's focus on producing graduates with entrepreneurial and innovative skills, aligning with the National Universities Commission's guidelines.

The curriculum is designed to empower students to become job creators rather than job seekers. Despite initial challenges with the online registration system, the institution has provided technical assistance to ensure a smooth process for students.

The Federal Government has approved personnel and overhead costs for the university, signaling its commitment to the institution's success.
