Uba Sani Names Jerry Adams as 2027 Running Mate

Senator Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governorship candidate for the 2027 election, has appointed Mr. Jerry Adams as his running mate. This announcement was made in a statement on Tuesday, following extensive consultations and reflections.

Sani described Adams' selection as a strategic move to enhance peace, inclusive governance, and sustainable development in Kaduna State. He emphasized that the nomination aligns with the principles of inclusion, justice, fairness, and equity that have guided his administration since he took office on May 29, 2023.

Sani highlighted the importance of ensuring that all residents feel a sense of belonging, regardless of their religion, ethnicity, or geographical location. He noted the administration's efforts to heal divisions and restore public confidence through equitable development across all 23 local government areas.

Sani praised Adams as an accomplished public servant and a renowned tax administrator, recognizing his contributions to transforming the Kaduna State Internal Revenue Service into a leading agency in Nigeria.
