APC Nominates Faruk Mustapha as Deputy Candidate for 2027

The All Progressives Congress (APC) has selected Faruk Mustapha as its deputy governorship candidate for the 2027 elections in Bauchi State. This decision comes as the party aims to finalize its ticket ahead of the upcoming elections.

Mustapha, who previously served as the Director General of the campaign for the current governor, Bala Mohammed, expressed his acceptance of the nomination, viewing it as an opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of Bauchi State. He emphasized his commitment to public service and the trust placed in him by the party leadership.

Mustapha recently left the Allied Peoples Movement (APM) to align with the APC, seeking the governorship ticket before being named as the deputy candidate. Former governor Moham Abdullahi Abubakar, who is the APC governorship candidate, highlighted Mustapha's experience as crucial for addressing the challenges facing Bauchi State.

The APC's state organizational secretary, Sallau Kafi, confirmed the completion of the nomination process.
