Since assuming office in 2023, Governor Sani has prioritized restoring peace and security through a holistic, multi-layered approach, combining kinetic and non-kinetic strategies. His administration's Kaduna Peace Model focuses on local-rooted frameworks, inclusive dialogue, and community engagement.

Key initiatives include the recruitment and training of 7,000 personnel for the Kaduna Vigilance Service and the establishment of a Kaduna State Security Trust Fund.
