Uba Sani Rejects Politicization of Insecurity in Kaduna

On Monday, during a Kaduna State Security Council meeting held at the Sir Kashim Ibrahim House, Governor Uba Sani stated that his administration will not allow the politicization of insecurity. He warned that any individual or group attempting to undermine peace in the state will face the full weight of the law.

Governor Sani reiterated the constitutional responsibility of the government to protect lives and property, committing to uphold this duty firmly and without compromise. He noted that since assuming office on May 29, 2023, Kaduna State has not experienced significant ethno-religious conflicts, including the farmer-herder disputes.

The governor's administration focuses on tackling security challenges through strengthened intelligence, grassroots collaboration, and coordination among security agencies. He described the security approach as anchored in inclusive intelligence-led operations and community ownership, which he believes are essential for maintaining peace in Kaduna State.
