Kaduna Community Distressed as 13 Kidnap Victims Held Despite N40m Ransom Payment

The Gidan Waya community in Kaduna State's Lere Local Government Area is in turmoil as 13 individuals remain captive after a N40 million ransom payment to bandits. The community, led by Mallam Rabo Sambo, sold 3,000 bags of maize to raise the ransom, causing food shortages.
