Kudurmi Community Denies Rescue of 31 Abducted Worshippers

The Kudurmi Community Association, represented by its Public Secretary Joseph David Ariko and Manasseh Samuel, has dismissed reports claiming that 31 worshippers abducted during an Easter service in Kachia Local Government Area were rescued. They labeled these claims as false and misleading, emphasizing that the abducted individuals remain in captivity.

The association acknowledged the efforts of security agencies in addressing insecurity but expressed concern over the circulation of inaccurate information, which they believe creates confusion and false hope for the families of the victims. They urged the Nigerian Army and relevant authorities to ensure that verified information is released to the public and highlighted the importance of prioritizing the safe return of the abducted individuals.

The community expressed solidarity with the affected families and assured them that credible updates would be provided as they become available.
