Emir of Zazzau Advocates for Education Investment

The Emir of Zazzau, Nuhu Bamali, called for increased investment in education to help reduce social vices and guide young people towards productive lives. This statement was made during a Qur'an recitation competition held in Zaria, organized by Nigerian Breweries, which aims to encourage learning and reward academic excellence among students.

The Emir commended parents and teachers for their roles in nurturing children and highlighted that proper education and guidance are essential in decreasing the number of miscreants in society. He expressed hope that the prizes awarded would be utilized to build a foundation for greater opportunities in the future.

Additionally, the Emir noted the importance of mentoring from teachers and parents to inspire students and emphasized the significance of girls' education, describing it as critical for societal development. He expressed delight in the growing participation of girls in Islamic convent education, which includes primary and secondary schools.
