Kaduna State Partners with ASI Engineering for Power Supply

Kaduna State Governor Uba Sani has formalized a partnership with ASI Engineering Limited aimed at strengthening electricity supply and expanding infrastructure across the state. The agreement was disclosed during the Kaduna Electricity Franchise Energy Summit held in London.

The state will commit N15 billion in exchange for a 5.54% equity stake in the firm, which translates to a 4.13% indirect holding. This move is part of a wider economic strategy focused on industrial growth, attracting investment inflows, and improving living standards through stable electricity supply.

Governor Sani emphasized the importance of this engagement at the summit, highlighting Kaduna's readiness to collaborate with partners to enhance energy access and support development goals. During the event, he also engaged with fellow governors from Zamfara and Kebbi states to discuss regional cooperation on scalable energy solutions, reinforcing the state's strategic efforts to secure long-term energy stability and boost industrial activity.
