Uba Sani Secures ₦15bn Energy Deal in London

Uba Sani, the Governor of Kaduna State, led a high-level engagement at the Kaduna Electric Franchise Energy Summit in London, where he advanced the state's drive for sustainable power and economic growth. During the summit, a memorandum of understanding was signed with ASI Engineering Limited, marking a significant step in the governor's broader agenda to industrialize the state, attract investments, and ensure reliable energy access.

The deal, valued at ₦15 billion, represents a 5.54% equity stake in the company, translating to an indirect 4.13% stake in Kaduna Electric. This investment is a deliberate step to secure Kaduna's energy future, enhance the power industry, and improve livelihoods.

The summit also featured participation from governors of Zamfara and Kebbi, promoting regional cooperation and engagement with investors and stakeholders to develop scalable energy solutions.
