Kaduna Man Drags Daughter's Boyfriend to Court for Misusing Late Wife's Funds

Kaduna man, Mr. Ishaku Joseph, has taken his daughter's boyfriend, Yunana Zock, to a Customary Court in Kaduna State for allegedly squandering his late wife's death benefits.

The prosecutor, ASP Jeremiah Amfani, stated that Zock deceived Joseph's daughter and withdrew a significant sum from the death benefit. Emmanuella, Joseph's daughter, testified that Zock took her ATM card without authorization.

Zock admitted transferring the money but claimed it was with Emmanuella's consent. The court is set to hear further witnesses in the next session.

The case highlights issues of trust and financial mismanagement within families.
