Northern Rally Solidifies Support for Bola Tinubu in Kaduna

On October 26, a significant rally took place in Kaduna, where President Bola Ahmed Tinubu received overwhelming support from the North, countering narratives that he had lost their backing. The Kaduna Township Stadium was filled beyond capacity, with attendees from various ethnic backgrounds, including Hausa, Fulfulde, Tiv, Idoma, Gbagyi, Yoruba, Nupe, Kanuri, and English speakers.

Prominent figures such as APC governors from the North and their southern counterparts attended, alongside former governors, legislators, and community leaders. The event was characterized by a vibrant atmosphere, with attendees expressing their loyalty to Tinubu, whom they refer to as Jagaba.

The rally underscored the historical political alliance between Tinubu and the North, dating back to his early political career in the 1990s, where he aligned with Northern political figures. The Arewa for Asiwaju movement was highlighted as a significant political force supporting Tinubu amidst opposition challenges.
