Kaduna Governor Pledges 100% Water Supply by 2026 Through Infrastructure Reforms

Governor Uba Sani of Kaduna State aims to achieve full water supply coverage by 2026, following years of neglect in the water sector. The state plans to invest billions in modernizing water infrastructure, committing to ensuring reliable clean water for all households.

Sani's administration has already spent billions on replacing vandalized pipes and critical pipelines in cities like Zaria and Kafanchan. Additionally, efforts include clearing outstanding electricity bills to ensure uninterrupted water production.

The governor also prioritizes the welfare of water sector workers, settling salary arrears and integrating reforms.
