Kambari Supports Aviation Correspondents' Engagement Efforts

On June 1, 2026, Mahmud Adam Kambari, the Permanent Secretary of the Federal Ministry of Aviation and Aerospace Development, reaffirmed the ministry's commitment to maintaining a cordial relationship with the Aviation Correspondents Association of Nigeria (ATACA). During a courtesy visit by ATACA members to his office in Abuja, Kambari emphasized that his assumption of office would not alter the long-standing partnership between the ministry and the association.

He pledged to strengthen existing relationships and ensure that media members continue to play a vital role in promoting activities and achievements within the aviation sector. Kambari urged ATACA to adopt a fair and transparent nomination process to ensure equitable distribution of opportunities among its members.

He also expressed support for ATACA's annual conference scheduled for September 2026 and assured that the ministry would consider their proposals. Mr.

Ejik Omej, the earlier chairman of ATACA, thanked Kambari for the warm reception and highlighted the association's role in promoting information and reporting developments within the industry.
