Nigeria's Aviation Minister Supports Miss World Nigeria

On Tuesday, Nigeria's Minister of Aviation and Aerospace Development, Festus Keyamo, reaffirmed the federal government's commitment to promoting the country's aviation and tourism sectors. This statement was made during a meeting with Miss World Nigeria, Tamunosoy Karibi George, and her entourage in Abuja.

Keyamo emphasized the importance of these sectors as key drivers of national development. He pledged the ministry's support for Karibi George's participation in the upcoming Miss World pageant in Vietnam.

The minister acknowledged the significant logistical requirements for representing Nigeria and expressed his commitment to facilitating her participation. Karibi George also sought support for humanitarian projects she is promoting.

Keyamo highlighted the close link between aviation and tourism, stating that without aviation, tourism would struggle to thrive. He recalled the global success of Agbani Darego and expressed confidence in Karibi George's potential to bring similar honor to Nigeria.

The ministry plans to engage with foreign airlines to provide support for her travel and promote Nigeria's image at international airports.
