Kano State Receives N8bn Donation for Fire Victims

The Kano State government expressed gratitude to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and the All Progressives Congress (APC) governors for their collective donation of N8 billion to assist victims of the recent fire outbreak at the popular Singer Market in Kano. President Tinubu contributed N5 billion as an intervention fund, while the APC Progressive Governors Forum raised an additional N3 billion.

This financial support aims to alleviate the losses suffered by market traders and facilitate the rebuilding of their businesses. The statement emphasized the importance of federal and state intervention in demonstrating empathy and unity during difficult times.
