Kano CSOs Rally Behind EFCC and ICPC in Corruption Probe

Civil Society Organizations (CSOs) in Kano expressed support for the EFCC and ICPC in their ongoing investigations into corruption allegations involving state government officials. The CSOs gathered at the EFCC zonal office in Kano to show solidarity and demand accountability, justice, and transparency.

Ambassador Abdullahi Muhammad led the group in a solidarity walk to convey a clear message of support to the anti-corruption agencies. They highlighted various corruption scandals, including the Novomed drug scandal and Women Cash Support Scheme, emphasizing the need for the judiciary to act fairly.

The CSOs emphasized that corruption is harming the people of Kano and called for an end to the embezzlement of public funds.
