Kano State Supports Family of Slain Police Officer

The Kano State government has extended a welfare support package to the family of the late Inspector Sani Haladu, who was killed in the line of duty on March 27, 2026. The support package includes a cash donation of N1 million and food items such as five bags of rice, six bags of spaghetti, six bags of macaroni, and two 25-liter jerry cans of vegetable oil.

This package was presented at the Kano State Police Command headquarters by Moham Tajo Othman, on behalf of the state government. The Deputy Commissioner of Police, Ibrahim Bakori, expressed gratitude for the government's gesture, highlighting Inspector Haladu's dedication and loyalty as a gallant officer who lost his life serving the nation.

The state government, led by Governor Abba Yusuf, emphasized its commitment to the welfare of police officers and their families, reinforcing the importance of their sacrifices in maintaining security across the state.
