Kano Governor Celebrates Sultan of Sokoto's 70th Birthday

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf extended his congratulations to Sultan of Sokoto and President-General of the Nigerian Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, Alhaji Sa’ad Abubakar III, on the occasion of his 70th birthday. In a statement released by his spokesman, Sunusi Tofa, Yusuf commended the Sultan as a respected traditional and religious leader whose extensive service has significantly contributed to peace, unity, and coexistence in Nigeria.

He noted that the Sultan's leadership has provided guidance on issues affecting the Muslim community and the nation.
