Kano Governor Mourns Former Finance Commissioner Dandago

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf mourned the passing of Professor Kabiru Isa Dandago, the former finance commissioner, who reportedly died on Wednesday at the Aminu Kano Teaching Hospital after a brief illness. In a condolence message issued on the same day by his spokesperson, Sunusi Batur Dawakin Tofa, Governor Yusuf described Professor Dandago as a dedicated public servant and accomplished scholar whose contributions to education and governance left a lasting impact on Kano State.

He noted that Dandago earned widespread respect in his profession and was known for his humility and passion for knowledge. The governor emphasized that the death of Professor Dandago represents a significant loss for Kano State, referring to him as a valuable son whose experience and wisdom greatly enriched both public service and the academic community.

Yusuf extended his condolences to the family of the deceased and prayed for divine forgiveness and strength for the family to bear the loss.
