Kano Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf Pledges Federal Partnership

On Saturday, Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf reaffirmed his commitment to a sustained partnership with the federal government, led by President Bola Ahmed Tinubu, to attract federal intervention and accelerate development in Kano State. This pledge was articulated in a statement issued by the governor's chief press secretary, Mustapha Muhammad.

Governor Yusuf made this commitment while addressing a crowd welcoming him back to the state. He emphasized that his administration would focus on delivering democratic dividends and accelerating development across key sectors.

The governor called for unity among political parties to strengthen grassroots mobilization ahead of future elections. His return to Kano was marked by a large turnout of supporters at the Malam Aminu Kano International Airport, where they displayed support through chants and music, causing heavy traffic along major roads in the metropolis.

The event was organized in association with Local Government Nigeria Leadership, and various political office holders and stakeholders were present to show their support.
