Kano Governor Abba Yusuf Proposes North-South Trust Bridge

Yusuf emphasized that addressing insecurity requires collective responsibility and cannot be resolved by the government alone. He highlighted the need for collaboration between northern and southern states, proposing the establishment of a trust bridge that includes joint youth innovation hubs and inter-state student exchange programs.

Yusuf also mentioned ongoing security threats in Kano, including bandit incursions, and the state's efforts to collaborate with security agencies to combat these issues. The summit featured awards presented to various leaders, including Governor Yusuf, who received the Governor of the Year award.
