Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje to Join APC Amid Political Turmoil

Kano Governor Abdullahi Ganduje is reportedly planning to defect to the APC from NNPP, despite opposition from his political mentor Senator Rabiu Musa Kwankwaso. Abdullahi Ibrahim Rogo, Jibrin Ismail Falgore, and other local government leaders have expressed support for Ganduje's move.

The decision comes after consultations with various stakeholders and a resolution that joining APC is in the best interest of the people. Sanusi Batur Dawakin Tofa's endorsement further solidifies the governor's impending defection.

Kwankwaso is expected to make a formal announcement in January.
