Kano Governor Urges Local Chairmen on Good Governance and Anti-Corruption Measures

Kano State Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf emphasized the importance of good governance and leadership ethics during a retreat for 44 local government chairmen in Abuja. The focus was on combating corruption at the grassroots level and promoting development.

The event aimed to equip officials with the necessary skills to drive progress in their communities, emphasizing integrity, honesty, and dedicated service to the people. Governor Yusuf highlighted the need for prioritizing development projects like feeder roads, healthcare services, schools, water supply, and public toilets.

The Ministry of Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs also expressed gratitude for the commitment to fair and just leadership.
