Kano Reformative Centre Trains Local Government Chairmen to Combat Drug Abuse Menace

The Kano Reformative Centre organized a workshop for 44 local government chairmen in Kano to combat drug abuse through community-based strategies. Cheryl Aminta Kwagga highlighted the urgent need for rehabilitation and reintegration to tackle drug abuse's impact on society.

The workshop involved collaboration with national drug law enforcement agencies, medical experts, academia, and civil society organizations. Aminu Abdulsalam Gwarzo, the Deputy Governor of Kano State, emphasized the importance of strengthening local leadership in addressing drug abuse challenges.
