Kano Government Warns Against Insulting Kwankwaso, Threatens Disciplinary Action

The Kano State Government has issued a warning to supporters of Governor Abba Yusuf, cautioning them against making derogatory comments towards Rabiu Kwankwaso, a key figure in the New Nigeria People's Party (NNPP). The government emphasized that disrespectful behavior or insults towards Kwankwaso will not be tolerated and could result in disciplinary measures.

Batur Tofa, the Director-General of Media and Publicity at the Government House in Kano, stressed the need for political maturity and restraint, especially amid heightened political tensions. The warning comes in the wake of reactions following Yusuf's recent resignation from the NNPP, sparking mixed responses within the Kwankwasiyya movement and among residents in the state.
