Kwankwaso Critiques Kano Government's Shift from Kwankwasiyya

Rabiu Kwankwaso, the former governor of Kano State, voiced his disappointment regarding the current administration led by Governor Abba Kabir Yusuf, stating that it has strayed from the principles of the Kwankwasiyya movement. In a recent address, Kwankwaso criticized the governor for forming a structure that aligns with the Gandujiyya faction, which is associated with former governor Abdullahi Umar Ganduje.

He expressed confusion over this shift and lamented the developments as painful and disappointing. Despite these challenges, Kwankwaso congratulated members of the Kano State House of Assembly who won recent elections in Ungogo, highlighting the low voter turnout.

He encouraged members of the Kwankwasiyya movement to remain steadfast and assured them that the movement's doors remain open for a potential return to power, urging them to follow the APC's steps carefully.
