Kano High Court Sentences Two Men to Death for University Lecturer's Murder

The Kano High Court, presided over by Justice Fatima Adamu, handed down a death sentence to two men, Aliyu Hussaini Sheka and Amir Zakariyya, for the murder of a university lecturer during a robbery in Kano. The men were convicted on three counts, including criminal conspiracy and culpable homicide.

The prosecution successfully proved the case beyond a reasonable doubt, leading to the death sentence. The defendants had pleaded not guilty, but the court ruled based on the evidence presented.

The verdict has shocked the Sanka community in Dala, Kano State.
